Once upon a time…..STOP!!

If you are reading this you probably aren’t interested in a nice bed time story or hyperactive charismania rally call; let’s face it you are here because you are desiring, longing or hungering for something….. “different”.

Some would start thinking, “There he goes, preaching a different gospel”. Yet, I know that you know what I mean. You have also been judged, possibly misunderstood only because you couldn’t do another…..”service”. Or, you had no more tolerance to “submit” to people you barely knew.

You have probably been around the church block a few times and absolutely exhausted with no more energy left to give.

You are aware that, yes I (Brian Olynick), have been the“pastor”. The leader of the congregational meeting model. You know that I laid it down. You are probably conscious that I have no animosity in me for the organized church and leaders….in fact I celebrate them! I am truly grateful for those who continue to lead the organized church. It is not those that I am addressing.

Actually, I am in a similar place as you. I can’t go back. I am finding my way….just like you. My heart is to encourage you on your journey and to let you know you are not alone.

I am not “right” or attempting to prove to anyone that I am right. That has been part of the challenge of the many religious mantra’s that declare they have got it figured out, they are “the ones”, the “new thing”, the “latest & greatest” or the “new king of the castle”.

I am in no way attempting to be offensive to anyone…..I am writing to those who are here because they have been misjudged, hurt and misunderstood. Yes, they, we….each of us have hurt others….most likely not intentionally. It happens and it’s okay since we have the power to forgive.

Is it easy for us…..absolutely not! Only forward can we move.

I must be honest with you though…..I don’t have the answer. Or I should say I don’t have the answer for you. I am discovering my answers, my directions, my flow and rhythm in this season. I am not referring to my spirituality as I know who I am in Jesus…..no striving there hahaaha!

Yet, the truth is, we need to find our own answers. We have our prophetic words. **Caution, don’t let one person tell you (prophesy) what they mean and give you the direction that you need to discover yourself.

Yes, we need to help and encourage each other. Not enable or manipulate. Genuinely care. No strings attached.

Once upon a time….and they all lived ……moving forward discovering, finding, being, solving, helping and loving.

Much love,

Brian Olynick
