The war cry pierced the room: “CHARGE!”
We were in an upper room in India praying. It was the morning after a crusade in which we had experienced some resistance. Then the prayer……or should I say shout filled the room: “CHARGE!” Not an elaborate, lengthly or elegant prayer yet it possessed substance and authority.
The battle cry came from a passionate man of God named Steve Urwin from the United Kingdom. I soon found out that Steve along with his wife Joanne moved to Canada only months earlier to join in a global initiative to impact nations with the Gospel. This lovely couple had sold their home and resigned from their jobs to take this huge leap of faith by moving to a different continent.
Steve and Joanne soon after the India mission moved from Kelowna, BC to Abbotsford, 
BC and engaged in the global initiative and community in our region. They enriched many peoples lives through their love and ministry. They are family people. Steve and Joanne are still talked about as we reflect on their prophetic words that have come to pass, the gold & silver they seen and revealed in many of us along with the music and art that they lavishly sowed into our lives.
This lovely couple eventually moved back to the UK. They remain friends and family.
Steve recently asked that we pray for them. Steve described his prayer need as this, “A raging storm but we are on the pillow with Jesus xxx.” Again nothing elaborate although so captivating to love on them with thoughts and prayers. Could you please join us in praying for them? We hope they can feel our prayers as we cry out:“CHARGE!” on their behalf.
