Here we are into September. For traditional church organizations, this time of year it is generally the ‘kick off’ to launch and ramp up programs.
Also, we need to be aware of what is on the minds of the masses and we can gain much understanding of this via social media platforms.
Below are the Facebook posts which I facilitate that have gone viral this last week. The posts are limited to 140 characters, for at a glance views and for congruency with Twitter. Of course, there are many factors that can effect the activity of the posts, such as the time, the demographic of the group, who is on social media, etc. Although this can greatly assist us in understanding what is most on the hearts of those in the ‘trenches,’ along with those who are hungry for encouragement and hope.
“A commitment to take risks and take chances no matter WHAT the outcome is a key to overcoming fear.” ~ Sandi Krakowski
“You don’t need to go to a certain place to get blessed in your relationship with God. He’s with you 7 days a week. He never leaves you!” ~ Graham Cooke
“No matter how dark it looks, no matter how long it has been, God will always finish what He started.” ~ Joel Osteen
“Don’t use your energy to worry. Use your energy to believe.” ~ Joel Osteen
“Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell. I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of Hell.” C.T. Studd
“Defy the odds, keep going & don’t let the nay sayers in! Your heart is a no trespassing zone to the dream stealers & nay sayers!” ~ Brian Olynick
Which of these posts ring most loudly with you?
What would your post state to best describe what your greatest need and breakthrough is at this current time in your life?
FYI Facebook Stats and Information from Sandi Krakowski:

3.1 MILLION times per minute . 52,083 TIMES PER SECOND . GO THERE…. people are expressing their opinions, seeking out relationship, looking for hope. BE THE BRIGHTEST THING they will ever encounter in their life and when you earn their trust, tell them of the Father’s great great love for them.

PS Here are three more of my personal posts that people really connected with this past week:
Your wake up call today is to wake up to the truth, you are loved w/ an everlasting love of the Father, anything that differs…turn it off!
When we risk we sometimes fail….please wash off shame & regret. You are celebrated. Failure is all part of it & playing safe isn’t fun.
There is no condemnation in Jesus. No negative, downgrading, disconcerting or demoralizing motives or intentions from heaven. #youareloved
