East Gate is more than a local church. We are an organic movement of people, a company of champions with a heart after God and a burning desire to see His Kingdom established in our world.

East Gate Ministries was birthed in the Spring of ’04. But before that the Lord had already begun to speak of its destiny, prophesying about who this company of people would be and all that He was promising. Confirmations came in the form of dreams, visions, words of knowledge, and prophetic words. As well as the treasured still, small voice of the Father. In fact, it was in a passionate time of worship at a conference in Seattle, that Kristen received the name ‘East Gate’ and the mandate of Ezekiel 47.

And now, 6 years later, the Lord continues to confirm the calling and promise of Ezekiel 47 for East Gate. The promise is that the River of Living of Water, flowing from the temple of the Lord, will pass through the East Gate, flowing out from there into the streets, cities, and nations of the world. And as it flows from the gate, it’s width and depth increase continually until it is a river so powerful that it cannot be waded or trekked, except that you release all control and allow it’s currents to sweep you away in a live-giving experience of sheer joy and exhilaration!

As it translates to our Body, our company of people, we believe that the Lord has called us (as He’s called each person) to be conduits of His Glory; ‘gates’ through which his Living Waters are free to flow, filling us and flowing through us, touching the world around us in exponential growth. And the touch of this River is not limited to one sphere of society alone—we attempting to see every sphere society, every ‘gate’ of influence, touched by the River of God, filled with the Kingdom and used in exporting the revelation of Jesus Christ to the world! There is no one model, one program, one lifestyle that we are seeking to promote or reproduce. Rather, we are striving to seek the Lord passionately and free of religious presumptions, and to see an organic movement spring up. Giving freedom to the people around us to dream big, pursuing the passions and desires of their heart as we all co-labor with God to see His Kingdom come and His will being doing in the world around us! We truly are living in exciting days!

It is our core conviction that God is good and that He is in a good mood! We are confident in the absolute victory of Jesus and we know that truly, nothing is impossible! And as we seek to journey together, we are committed to the fact that every person is significant.

There has never been a brighter day and we are aware that the Glory of the Lord is filling the earth like never before! Miracles, signs, and wonders are manifesting the very love of God and we are seeing people healed of every kind of sickness and infirmity. The presence of our good God remains our greatest desire, His unfailing love our greatest aim. We are thrilled about all that He is doing, and are humbled by the opportunity to share in your journey.
