Belize

Belize, Central America is a nation on the eastern coast of Central America, with Caribbean Sea shorelines to the east and dense jungle to the west. It’s known for its beaches, eco-lodges, scuba diving and sport fishing. Offshore, the massive Belize Barrier Reef, dotted with hundreds of cayes, hosts rich marine life. Belize’s jungle areas are rich with Mayan ruins.

Brian and Kristen have spent several years in this remarkable country as missionaries. Working and living on a children’s home while ministering to local villages, there was never a dull moment. In fact, when returning from the mission field Brian & Kristen pursued an international adoption for a family of five that lived with them in Belize.

Scott and Cheryl Stirm spearhead an apostolic thrust in the nation of Belize, a small Central American country of 280,000 that is primarily Caribbean in culture. Having lived & served there for over 20 years, their ministry forte’ is the Healing of Fatherhood and raising up a radical “new breed of leaders” from this younger generation. They also serve strongly in networking leaders & ministries, leadership development, personal freedom dynamics, and LOTS of Worship & Intercessory prayer in the Body of Christ. They have had the privilege of seeing young teens that they worked with years ago become present radical leaders of their generation and Jubilee Ministries, the church that they give senior leadership to, just outside the nations Capitol city of Belmopan.

Over 80% of the children in the Caribbean are born outside of marriage – and HALF of that figure will never know who their father is… Into this breakdown rings the truth that God is a Father to the fatherless, a healer of hurts & wounds, and a breaker of generational bondage! Part of the grace & calling upon the Stirm’s life is to radically impact young leaders BEFORE they get married, coaching them into a powerful and pure covenant powered marriage and raising Godly covenant kids! In so doing, God is raising up a radical generation with a “different spirit” like Caleb. (NUM 14:24)


Scott and Cheryl and their Jubilee family are involved in a variety of ministry areas, mostly targeting young people and kids, but also areas of mercy ministry to the poor, education ministry, raising up and sending out Belizean missionaries, and prison ministry… Your prayer cover for them is treasured, particularly for the continued shield of grace over their home & family, for the Life of God to flow through them, for radical young leaders to be raised up, and for greater and greater breakthroughs of God’s power and love into Belize and beyond.
